Throughout his career, Joe has worked with top charities including the American Cancer Society, National Kidney Foundation, American Heart Association, Arthritis Foundation, March of Dimes, Habitat for Humanity, NPR’s Car Talk Program, and several others.
He was selected as one of Rhode Island’s “40 Under 40” by the Providence (RI) Business News. As a featured speaker on sustainability, social enterprise, and cause-related marketing, Joe addressed the international conference of JCI Global Partnership Summit in June 2011.
An active volunteer at home and abroad, he is a board member for the Gene & Mary Sarazen Scholarship Fund, Habitat for Humanity of the East Bay Rhode Island… Joe volunteered in Louisiana after Hurricane Katrina and has participated in housing projects in Africa, South America, Southeast Asia and the Caribbean. After the 2010 earthquake, Joe and his wife made two trips to Haiti as volunteers at NPH orphanage in Kenscoff and then at the 2011Jimmy & Roslyn Carter Work Project in Leogane.
